About the Accelerator

The SPIKE acceleration process is based on 7 phases which have been designed around the Design Thinking process. The phases cover:

• Scoping
• Empathy
• Defining
• Idea generation and evaluation
• Prototyping & testing
• Business Model Design
• Pitching

Each phase consists of a series of tools that guide the user's development journey.

SPIKE places special emphasis on the provision of learning material as the acceleration process can only be successful if users have the knowledge and ability to correctly apply the Tools provided. Therefore, SPIKE provides more than 25 learning videos as well as a number of Tool descriptions and examples to ensure that the Tools' full potential is exploited.

SPIKE has been designed as a tool-based acceleration process as we believe in making things practical and engaging. All our tools are placed on the SPIKE Board, creating a one-stop shop for your entrepreneurial project that you can also share with your colleagues, mentors or advisors.
